Recap of the wild game feed:

Fishing on Moose lake was a little challenging as it was a little windy and cold and we had a very snowy forecast that weekend. The bite was really slow with a few small walleyes caught. About a dozen people braved the cold to fish. The highlight of the day definitely had to be the food!!!! There was venison meatballs, wild rice meatballs, blackened walleye (thank you Norm!!!) casseroles with sausage, casseroles with chicken, potatoes, salads, and baked goodies to rival some of the best bakeries. If you have never attended one of these you are missing a real treat. This was my first and I will definitely be back next year. I estimate around 30 people total attended this event. Each person brought a gift wrapped present valued at $5.00 or less and the gifts were the hit of the evening!! Especially since you had the option of either choosing an unwrapped gift or one that someone else already had chosen. Each gift was given out one at a time, giving everyone the chance to see what the item was.
